Village of Somerset Parking Restrictions

Per Village ordinance the following restrictions are in effect year round:

No vehicle may be parked from 4:30am to 7:00am on:

ANY portion of Main Street, Church Hill Rd., Spring St., or Sunrise Dr.
Cloutier Dr. from Sunrise Dr. to Depot St.
Municipal Parking lot located at 110 Spring St.

Winter Parking restrictions:

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle attended or unattended on ANY street in the Village of Somerset during a Snow Emergency* or during Snow Removal operations. *Snow Emgerency is defined as 2 or more inches of snow on the ground and the Public Works Dept. or Department designee declares a snow emergency.

The following restrictions are in effect during large events. (i.e. concerts, parades, etc.)

No vehicle may be parked on any village street without a permit. Permits are only available to businesses in the Village and residents of the Village of Somerset. 1 hour parking is allowed in the restaurant/bar/grill area (downtown) of the Village.

All restrictions are properly marked by barrels and signs.
